Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed James Morrissey controller for ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa, the luxury property located oceanside in Miami Beach, Florida. Rikki Boparai, Benchmark’s general manager, made the announcement.
“It is with pleasure that I welcome Jim to ONE Bal Harbour,” said Mr. Boparai. “His rich background in finance and accounting, with many years invested in our industry, will be of significant benefit to our resort, and we look forward to his leadership contributions to our executive team.”
James Morrissey was previously group controller for London Bay Homes, a company located in Naples, Florida. Prior to this appointment he held the positions of director of operations and controller for Quail Creek Country Club.
Mr. Morrissey has served as controller for a number of luxury-brand resorts over his productive career, at properties in locations across the United States. He is a graduate of Providence College where he earned his Bachelors in Science degree.
