Another extraordinary international success for the Italian luxury brand Baglioni Hotels Collection at 25th Annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards: the French Relais & Châteaux property La Villa Gallici, Aix-en-Provence, has been ranked as the 7th Best Hotel in the World with a score of 98.2 by 46,476 magazine’s readers. When the results of the first Readers' Choice poll were published in 1986, the high score was 87.0, a score that still impresses, though it would not even qualify for this year's Top 100, which reaches the heights of luxury. This Provencal mansion is at the top of the most prestigious international rankings for several years. Surrounded by the scents of Provence, it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, French antique furniture, impeccable service and, cuisine at the highest levels.
Condé Nast Traveler readers’ rate also the top hotels in Italy voting Luna Hotel Baglioni in Venice as one of the Best Hotel in Italy. Reputed to be the oldest recorded hotel in the city, the Luna boasts a prestigious position close to San Marco square. The hotel has breathtaking views over the Lagoon and the San Marco Basin, a lounge with original frescoes by pupils of Tiepolo, beautiful suites furnished in original Venetian style and the award winning Canova Restaurant.
Villa Gallici and Luna Hotel Baglioni are part of Baglioni Hotels Collection, established in 1973 and counting 10 properties in Italy, (Milan, Venice, Florence, Punta Ala and Rome), France (Aix-en-Provence, Champillon Epernay, Saint Paul de Vence) and UK (London), members of The Leading Hotels of the World and Relais & Châteaux.
