Hotel guests can now choose from a selection of Aromatherapy Associates, Shanghai Tang and Tara Smith Vegan Hair Care luxury bath products

It’s been nearly 40 years since name-brand shampoos were first introduced as in-room amenities at hotels and roughly a decade since hotels began carrying more specialized and high-end bath and body brands.* Today, Conrad Hotels & Resorts revealed the latest evolution of hotel bath amenities, and yet another way to customize your luxury hotel experience, by offering a selection of three distinct bath amenities – Aromatherapy Associates, Shanghai Tang and Tara Smith Vegan Hair Care – to all guests staying at its 20 properties around the globe.

“The option to individually select your bath amenities from this diverse and indulgent lineup is another example of how Conrad Hotels and Resorts delivers luxury on your terms, like our pillow menu and bespoke martini offerings,” said John Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands at Hilton Worldwide. “It’s also a simple convenience that allows our guests to travel on their terms.”

Conrad guests can enjoy “The Luxury of Being Yourself” with the following lines:

Seeking serenity? Choose Aromatherapy Associates – Rich in precious essential oils and active botanical extracts, each Aromatherapy Associates product is carefully blended using the purest ingredients to enhance a natural radiance and vitality throughout the body. Guests will receive Balance shampoo, Balance conditioner, Balance body lotion and Revive shower gel and body lotion.

Feeling exotic? Choose Shanghai Tang – A fashion icon known as the ambassador of contemporary Chinese chic luxury products for the global market, Shanghai Tang offers guests its new line of Mandarin Tea shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel and soap, each of which works to leave the hair and skin beautifully moisturized with a long-lasting feeling of freshness.

Living organic? Choose Tara Smith Vegan Hair Care – As one of the most innovative and well-respected celebrity hairstylists in the industry, Tara Smith has a keen understanding of luxury. Now, Conrad guests will be able to use her celebrity-tested vegan skincare products themselves, including Shine On shampoo & conditioner, Soften Up body lotion, Wash Up shower gel, and Clean Up bath soap.

Before arriving at a Conrad property, guests will receive a list of bath amenity options to help customize their experience, or they can make their selection upon arrival. Guests without a particular preference will receive Aromatherapy Associates products.

“People have grown increasingly conscious of the body products and fragrances they choose for themselves,” said Tyra Lowman, senior director global spa full service and luxury brands at Hilton Worldwide. “For guests who find luxury in natural products, the Aromatherapy Associates amenities, for example, are based in natural ingredients, and feature essential oil ingredients like Rosemary, Lavender and Petitgrain.”

Guests will soon be able to choose their amenities via a mobile platform called Conrad Concierge, enabling guests to personalize and pre-arrange a number of details related to their stay.

Aromatherapy Associates, Shanghai Tang and Tara Smith Vegan Hair Care amenities are currently available at all Conrad Hotels & Resorts business and leisure destinations in the world’s gateway cities. They are also carried by the world’s leading luxury spas, fragrance boutiques and department stores.
