Carlson, a global hospitality and travel company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn., today announced the appointment of Tammy Lee Stanoch as vice president, Corporate Communications. Stanoch will begin her new role on July 23 and report to Elizabeth Bastoni, executive vice president, chief Human Resources and communications officer.
"Tammy’s extensive experience in the airline and travel industry will be an important asset to Carlson as we continue to build global awareness of the Carlson brand in the hospitality and travel sectors. She will play a key role in the development and implementation of Carlson’s communications strategies in support of our Ambition 2015," said Bastoni.

Within the travel industry, Stanoch has held strategic positions in marketing, public relations, corporate communications, corporate affairs and government relations.
Most recently, Stanoch was the vice president of corporate and foundation relations at the University of Minnesota Foundation, where she helped create strategic partnerships with the private sector and advance global strategies in the areas of food, health, education and sustainability.
