Situated in the extensive grounds of the Warwick Le Lagon Resort & Spa and comprising over 1000 square metres of conference space, the Farea Pacifik can seat up to 800 people for banquets at any one time and allows flexibility so that smaller groups can benefit from more intimate and comfortable layouts. Theatre style seating will allow more than 1000 attendees.
Conference delegates will have access to the Resort's comprehensive 5 star facilities without imposing on the other guests of the Resort.
The conference centre, named the "Farea Pacifik" was officially opened today by the Prime Minister of Vanuatu, The Honourable Meltek Sato Kilman Livtuvanu. The facility includes kitchen and catering facilities, state-of-the-art air cooled air conditioning systems, dedicated power supply and back up, data points, fully integrated audio-visual systems and expansive verandas that allow delegates to experience the lush tropical grounds of the Resort for break-out sessions and al-fresco dining.
The conference centre opened its doors on Sunday 10 June when Vanuatu hosted the African, Caribbean & Pacific States and joint European Union Parliamentary Assembly. Attended by nearly 400 primary delegates plus their support staff, the Assembly continues the dialogue between member states that commenced in 2000 and focuses on Political Affairs, Economic Development, Finance, Trade as well as Social Affairs and the Environment.
This brand new facility will significantly enhance Vanuatu’s ability to attract large conferences and group business to the country and reflects the confidence of Warwick International Hotels in the prospects and outlook for Vanuatu and the South Pacific.
