Benchmark Hospitality International Appoints Tim Sofield Director of Group Sales for The Heldrich (United States)

Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading US-based hospitality management company, has appointed Tim Sofield director of group sales for The Heldrich Hotel and Conference Center, located in revitalized New Brunswick, New Jersey. Stacy Martin, Benchmark’s general manager at the hotel, made the announcement.

“This is a well-deserved promotion for Tim,” said Ms. Martin. “He has worked tirelessly to drive revenue for our hotel through active direct selling, and is a natural leader within our sales & marketing department. We look forward to his successful development and growth of our group sales segment.”

Timothy Sofield was previously senior sales manager for The Heldrich. He has also served in the role of global sales manager for Dolce Basking Ridge, a hotel and conference center in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

Mr. Sofield has been the recipient of numerous Benchmark Hospitality awards, including the Award of Excellence, The Platinum Club, the Benchmark Conference Plan Sales Award, and the company’s Attitude & Determination Award.

Sofield is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He resides in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
