NYC Hotel Teams Up With Local Artists to Create Maker's Mark-Inspired Works of Art for Charity During Happy Hours

The craft of fine bourbon and fine art come together at the New York Marriott Marquis hotel in two of its restaurants and bars -- Broadway Lounge and Crossroads -- where art will imitate life as guests sip handcrafted Maker's Mark(R) cocktails while watching local New York artists create Maker's Mark-inspired artwork.

The NYC hotel's Mark of Fine Art event series runs from March 13 - April 17, 2012. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00pm-7:00pm, guests can order from a menu of original cocktails made with Maker's Mark, as well as new Maker's 46, a bolder, more complex innovation from Maker's. Selections include the Star 46, made with Maker's 46 bourbon, star anise and apple cider and a Honey & Maker's Mark Glazed Chicken Skewer with Fennel Slaw.

As guests savor these delicious drinks and bites at the restaurants in Times Square, they will also enjoy a feast for the eyes as artists create Maker's Mark inspired artwork before them. On April 17, at the end of the Mark of Fine Art series, these works will be auctioned off at Broadway Lounge to benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which supports families of military personnel lost in service to our nation.
