Benchmark Hospitality International has named Perry Kokotis executive chef for World of Whirlpool, located in the historic Reid Murdoch Building in the River North area of Chicago. Ken Jesina, Benchmark’s conference center manager at World of Whirlpool, made the announcement.
"It is a pleasure to formally welcome Chef Kokotis to the leadership team at World of Whirlpool," said Mr. Jesina. "He has been with our property since pre-opening when he joined us as sous chef. This is a well-deserved promotion to executive chef, and is an outstanding example of why we say ‘Benchmark Builds Futures’."
The new World of Whirlpool facility is Whirlpool Corporation's flagship brand and product experience center for influencers in the appliance industry. Before Perry Kokotis joined Benchmark Hospitality International at World of Whirlpool, he had invested more than ten years of his career in professional cooking and kitchen management at some of Chicago's top-rated dining establishments.
