The Riu Palace Tikida Agadir will open its doors on March 26th, 2012
The new All Inclusive RIU resort will be the sixth property in the country
RIU Hotels & Resorts will open its sixth hotel in Morocco, the Riu Palace Tikida Agadir, on March 26th. Because of its natural beauty, exotic culture, spectacular beaches, geographical location and excellent relationship with the Tikida Group since 2002, the hotel chain remains committed to this country where its portfolio has five hotels, three located in the port of Agadir and two in Marrakech.
The Riu Palace Tikida Agadir, an All Inclusive beachfront property of 444 rooms, will be located next to ClubHotel Riu Tikida Dunas, Riu Tikida Beach and Riu Grand Palace Tikida Golf, and will be the fourth resort from the Spanish hotel chain in Agadir.
This luxurious property, surrounded by a lush garden, will feature two heated swimming pools for adults and children, an indoor swimming pool, fitness and spa which will offer special treatments, massages, sauna and hammam. The hotel will also offer guests a wide gastronomic selection, full of flavors and exotic aromas in its four restaurants, entertainment programmes, a mini club for children, and many more services under the renowned All-Inclusive programme by RIU.
Carmen Riu, CEO of RIU Hotels & Resorts, has stated that "Morocco is a fascinating country for its rich culture and exotic traditions. This, together with its landscapes, beaches and great culinary offer, make Morocco a complete tourist destination that every year attracts thousands of tourists”.
M. Marrache and M. Benabbés-Taarji, co-owners of the Tikida Group, assured that “we are very excited about this new opening, the sixth in our long-term partnership with RIU. We are sure that the hotel will be a success, specially counting on the support of the Government of Morocco who is strongly committed to develop the Tourism industry in the country through its strategic plan ‘Vision 2020’.”
Thanks to its more then seven miles of golden beach, crystal clear waters and spectacular sunsets, the Moroccan port of Agadir has become the main beach destination in Morocco. For this reason, many tourists choose to travel to this fascinating resort town seeking a holiday full of history and culture.
About Tikida:
The Tikida Group was initiated in 1968 by M. Marrache, who was joined by M. Benabbés-Taarji in 1973. Today the Tikida Group represents a total of 2.200 hotel rooms mainly in Marrakech and Agadir.
