Marriott Hotels, Paris are glad to support impoverished children in Asia suffering from illness and pain through the actions of Action Aide Asie association.
Sylvie Cochin is the President, founder and Coordinator of the Action Aide Asia (AAA) teams. With her teams she organizes multidisciplinary surgery missions in Asia in order to help sick and disabled children from the poorest families. The association helps children by providing them specialized care and medical equipment for handicapped children. Furthermore, AAA builds and equips day care centers for disabled children and villages for families affected by HIV / Aids. AAA also sponsors treatments to fight leprosy, malaria, tuberculosis and HIV. Finally, the association helps train local surgeons and provides medical equipment for hospitals shipped from France.
Marriott Hotels will stand by the “First International Night of the Hospitals for Children” at „Pavillon Gabriel. on Monday 19th, 2012. This event is dedicated to help Action Aide Asie in its commitment to children, especially in Cambodia in 2012.
This event hosted under the Cambodian banner, will celebrate the friendship that binds the two countries. Funds collected will be allocated to the project that was set up last year in the Takeo province to help disabled children and families suffering from HIV.
For 2012 in Cambodia, AAA aims to finance the construction, the equipment and the running costs of four day care centers for children with motor and cerebral disabilities and villages that will each welcome ten families suffering from HIV (for a total of around 60 inhabitants).
The first “Village de la Paix” and the day care center for disabled children were inaugurated in end September 2011. Today the day care center welcomes 50 children.

The evening will also be graced with the presence of the President of the “Fondation pour l.Enfance”, Madam Valéry Giscard d.Estaing and Her Royal Highness the Princess Buppha Devi Norodom as guests of honor. We also want to participate in mobilizing new energies for this generous cause ».
