This Prestigious Award Is the Third Consecutive Year the Resorts Have Been Honored in Esteemed Survey

The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas welcome the new year with another stellar accolade, this time being named one of the World's Best 500 Hotels in 2012 in Travel + Leisure's tenth annual T+L 500 list, based on data collected in the most recent World's Best Awards readers' survey. The T+L 500 awards are featured in the magazine's January 2012 issue and on TravelandLeisure.com/tl500.

To be acknowledged on Travel + Leisure's prestigious T+L 500 list of the World's Best Hotels requires a property to go above and beyond guest expectations. The awards are determined by data from the 2011 World's Best Awards survey completed by Travel + Leisure readers. The World's Best Awards hotel rankings are based on readers' ratings in five categories: rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food and value.

"We are deeply honored to be named in Travel + Leisure's 'T+L 500' list of World's Best Hotels," said John Caparella, president and chief operating officer of The Palazzo, The Venetian and Sands Expo Center. "To make this coveted list a third year in a row is a testimony to the extraordinary service we take pride in delivering to our guests."

As the largest resort complex in the world, The Venetian and The Palazzo take pride in providing guests with an unparalleled Las Vegas experience. The award-winning resorts are thrilled to add another distinguished honor to its roster of illustrious accolades. In addition to this celebrated achievement, The Venetian and The Palazzo received numerous awards in 2011 alone, including the Forbes Four Star and AAA Five Diamond Award, Conde Nast Traveler Top 100 U.S. Mainland Resorts; Association Conventions & Facilities Magazine Distinctive Achievement Award; Meetings & Conventions Magazine Gold Key, Gold Key Elite and Gold Platter Awards; and Corporate & Incentive Travel Magazine Award of Excellence.
