Crystal Cruises closed the year with its highest ever December booking week for its subsequent year of cruises – more than double the revenue of any prior year for the last week in December. With the December 31 expiration of “Book Now” fares, travel agents rushed to book 2012 cruises at the ultra-luxury line’s lowest rates.

With the beginning of the New Year, Crystal announces a new “Book Now” deadline of February 28, 2012 for 2012 and early 2013 cruises. While the new series of “Book Now” fares debuts with very attractive 2-for-1 pricing and bonus savings, fares have also increased for 19 worldwide cruises.
President Gregg Michel attributes the booking success to Crystal’s “Book Now” fares and the compelling price/value equation of its all-inclusive shipboard experience beginning in 2012, along with strong travel agent support, global sales and marketing efforts, attractive family initiatives and the unparalleled reputation of the Crystal vacation.

“We thank the thousands of consumers and travel agents who have responded to the tremendous value and variety of our 2012 cruise collection,” says Crystal President Gregg Michel. “Since we launched the ‘Book Now’ fare program a few months ago, savvy travelers believed us when we reiterated that those who book early enjoy the best pricing. The fares and bonus savings for 2012 are some of the most attractive ever – yet rates are not guaranteed. As promised, we are raising rates every 60 days.”

Crystal recently broke records when travelers again voted its vacation experience as Travel + Leisure’s “World’s Best - Large Ship” and rated Crystal higher than any other line in Condé Nast Traveler’s “Best” awards. Ever stylish, Crystal Serenity underwent a major redesign in 2011; Crystal Symphony, which also enjoyed a chic remodel in 2009, will emerge from her scheduled June 2012 dry-dock with more contemporary design enhancements. Crystal is also adding to the inclusiveness of its experience with complimentary fine wines, champagne, open bars and paid gratuities, beginning spring 2012. For 2012 and 2013, Crystal is offering a greater number of seven- and nine-day cruises to complement its worldwide cruise repertoire of two-week itineraries and World Cruises.
