Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Lisa Blair director of catering for Sorrento Hotel, a Seattle-based Personal Luxury Resorts & HotelsSM property. Sam Johnson, Benchmark’s general manager at the hotel, made the announcement.
“Lisa is one of Seattle’s top catering sales professionals, and we’re thrilled to have her on our team,” said Mr. Johnson. “We welcome her to Hotel Sorrento and look forward to her leadership and further development of our important catering business segment.”
Lisa Blair is seasoned professional with 23 years of catering and private dining sales experience. She was previously director of catering for the Edgewater Hotel of Seattle, where she successfully developed and led a polished team of sales professionals. Prior to joining the hotel, Ms. Blair worked in dining sales for the restaurant atop Seattle’s famed Space Needle, and with luxury properties and restaurants in the Portland area.
Ms. Blair is a graduate of Western Washington University of Bellingham, Washington. She resides with her husband in the Seattle suburb of Auburn.
