Four Seasons Resorts Lana'i announces the appointment of Veljko Savic as Spa Manager at The Spa. In his new role, he will be responsible in overseeing the daily operations of The Spa at Manele Bay and the Banyan Spa Suite at The Lodge at Koele, including managing and training therapists, ensuring exceptional guest experience, and developing and incorporating the latest trends in spa.
With a background in physiotherapy, Savic brings a wealth of knowledge and forward-looking methodology to The Spa at Manele Bay’s health and wellness program. A native of Serbia, he obtained his Diploma of Physiotherapy at the School of Medicine in Belgrade and then continued his studies with a Certification in Manual Massage Therapy from the Djuro Salaj Educational Center in Serbia. As a licensed massage therapist, Savic has incorporated his knowledge of physiotherapy and the workings of the body – such as anatomy and physiology, and combined them with a holistic approach, including aromatherapy, bio-energy and psycho kinesiology, when designing beneficial treatments and programs for guests. His health and wellness philosophy is to close the gap between treating the symptoms as in Western practices and treating the cause associated with Eastern practices.
Savic has spent more than a decade perfecting the art of health and wellness at some of the world’s most exclusive destinations. He joins Four Seasons Resorts Lana'i from Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa. Under his direction as Spa Manager, Kuda Huraa received the coveted Crystal Spa Award for best signature treatment. Prior to Four Seasons, Savic worked in various spa positions on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and the Mirabel Day Spa in Belgrade.
When not in The Spa, Savic gains balance and energy through the great outdoors. He enjoys hiking, surfing and the meditative calm of gardening. Savic lives in Lana'i with his wife Lara and is looking forward to Lana'i's many outdoor adventures.
