The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa launched a new and dynamic facility to its resort, Cornerstone, Deli, Vinothek and more …, adding a dimension to guest experience while staying at the resort.

Cornerstone offers a new take on leisure facilities within a resort and ensures guests have everything they need and desire as it presents a singular shopping, dining, and leisure experience, from international epicurean delights and wine to local souvenirs and an Internet hub.

It showcases an enchanting glassed-in wine cellar with countless premier wines from around the world in which guests will discover an intimate six-person dining table ideal for hosting memorable meals within the captivating cellar.

Throughout Cornerstone, the decor reflects the resort’s modern Balinese style, with dark wood accents and smooth white tiles framing a tempting deli with both indoor and al fresco seating. The deli offers a myriad of gourmet offerings and is an ideal stop for food lovers with its extensive display of cakes, chocolates, a variety of homemade ice cream flavours as well as take away sandwiches and sushi, sashimi, to be enjoyed at the cozy deli or in the comforts of guests’ rooms. The deli also extends a menu for a sumptuous lunch or dinner.

In line with The Laguna Bali being a destination authority, the Sambal corner is one of the focal points of the Cornerstone Deli as it offers guests an insight into an age old local flavour, one very familiar, yet prominent food accompaniment to many Indonesia dishes. The corner displays five traditional grinding mortars carrying hand ground sambals from five different provinces in Indonesia, including Bali, Padang and Solo. Guests are invited to taste the sambals with Indonesian crackers before selecting their preferred sambal of which bottled sambals are on display to be purchased and to be taken home with them.

Meanwhile, the adjacent boutique offers everything from jewellery, clothing, and local collectibles to drug store items and a money exchange counter. A billiards table and spacious Internet station with five hubs, accessible even after opening hours, complete the engaging Cornerstone.
