In a move that signals the growing importance of social media in the hotel industry, AYANA Resort and Spa Bali has launched an exclusive offer for Facebook and Twitter fans, with a bonus resort credit for all bookings.
Valid until 30 June 2012, the 'LIKE-TO-TWEET' offer is priced from $219++/room/night and $666++/villa/night, with an additional resort credit of $50/room for bookings of less than three nights, and $100/room for bookings of three nights and more.
The hotel's General Manager, Charles de Foucault, said the package was a way of expressing gratitude to the resort's thousands of Facebook and Twitter fans for their support and loyalty. "As of September 2011, we had more than 12,600 Facebook fans, up from just 2,000 fans in 2009, and we wanted to thank those guests for making this personal connection with our brand," he said.
"More than any other form of online communications, social media forges a deeper relationship with our guests before, during and after their stay. We are able to respond to their queries, listen to their feedback, develop products to match their preferences, and keep them updated on new promotions, community projects and events," Charles continued. "It is critical to our branding, not only from a marketing standpoint but also from an operational perspective, as we leverage social media to enhance our service and products across all departments, from Rooms, Spa and Food & Beverage right through to Housekeeping and Reservations."
AYANA's Facebook and Twitter fans can book this offer online at www.ayanaresort.com or by email to reservation@ayanaresort.com, using the codeword 'LIKE-TO-TWEET'. To qualify, like AYANA at www.facebook.com/ayanaresort or www.twitter.com/ayanaresort.
