MKG Group announces its growing list of candidates for its Worldwide Hospitality Awards

Hotel Chains, Independent Hotels and Hospitality schools are applying to be part of the ceremony taking place on 21 November 2011.

This is the 12th consecutive year that MKG Group is hosting the Worldwide Hospitality Awards. Gathering about 800 decision-makers, the award ceremony will be held on 21 November 2011 at the InterContinental Paris le Grand in the French capital and will be presided this year by Rakesh Sarna, Chief Operating Officer International, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts (President of the Ceremony) as well as Mariano Pérez Claver, Chief Executive Officer, NH Hoteles (President of the Advisory Board).

There are 10 official categories for the Worldwide Hospitality Awards: Best Communication Campaign, Best Marketing Strategy, Best Initiative in Sustainable Development, Best “People & Talent” Management Program, Best Young Graduates Integration Program, Best Initiative in Client’s Experience, and Best Innovating Concept, Best General Manager in the luxury and upscale segment.

The Worldwide Hospitality Awards will also distribute two additional awards: Lifetime Achievement Award and the Jury’s Grand Prize.

4 additional «Worldwide Hospitality School Awards» will be given: Best Communication, Best Professional Graduate, Best Educationnal Innovation (2 awards) for secondary school and higher education.

This year once again, candidates from all over the world entered the competition.

Thorsten Kirschke - Chief Operating Officer, Carlson Hotels, and President, Carlson Hotels, Americas, stated, “The Worldwide Hospitality Awards honor the best of the best, and Carlson Hotels is delighted to be part of the competition.
