RIU hotel chain has just won one of the UK’s major tourism awards: the 2011 Travel Bulletin Award for the “Star Worldwide Hotel & Resort Operator”. This is the 8th consecutive year that RIU has won an award at this event. The prize was awarded during the 15th prestigious Travel Bulletin Star Awards ceremony at the Landmark Hotel in London on Monday 12th of September in front of many professionals from the tourism sector.
The award was decided by the votes of British travel agent readers of Travel Bulletin who awarded RIU the prize in recognition of the chain’s superb quality service and high levels of guest satisfaction.
