Firm hires leading hotel and resort development specialist Pete Dordick
Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed Pete Dordick as Vice President for the firm’s Project and Development Services (PDS) team in Denver. Pete will work closely with Greg Hartmann, MAI, CHA, Executive Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels to strengthen the firm’s integrated hotel capabilities throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
“Pete’s expertise as a hotel developer and real estate attorney will allow the firm to provide unparalleled hotel development, renovation and repositioning consulting nationwide,” said Hartmann. “We will partner together as an integrated team offering hotel expertise in site selection, entitlements alignment, feasibility analysis, program management, development services and capital structuring for hotels throughout the Americas."
Dordick is a 20-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry and a specialist in hotels and resorts. A former real estate attorney, Dordick has worked on developments across the U.S., the Caribbean and Latin America. His wide range of expertise includes: acquisition analysis through entitlements, construction and operations. Additionally, Dorcick has led the development, sales and acquisitions of several hundred million dollars worth of real estate projects during his career.
He joins Jones Lang LaSalle from hotel real estate firm HVS, where he was a Director in transaction services. Dordick holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and a juris doctorate from the University of Denver.
