Sri panwa, the all villa island resort set in Phuket, Thailand has opened the Cool Spa, a new full service spa and wellness zone. Completely secluded amongst lush tropical rainforest, and set within its own private tropical water gardens, the new Cool Spa will be an oasis of serenity offering authentic Thai treatments and tailored holistic experiences.

Designed to resemble a traditional Chino-Portuguese residence and in a distinctly relaxing azure blue to reflect its ocean location, Cool Spa is set within beautifully landscaped spa gardens with the sight and sound of waterfalls creating a calming environment for total wellbeing. Six private treatment rooms featuring their own Jacuzzi bathtubs and two outdoor pavilions all with thatched roofs give a distinctly Asian feel.

All treatments use Sri panwa’s own Thai product line created using local, natural and seasonal indigenous ingredients including mango, papaya, rambutan, coconut and tamarind sourced from the local market or from Sri panwa’s own kitchen garden. Guests can also have bespoke scrubs and soothing lotions especially created from blended fruits, yoghurt, honey, teas and oils that are good enough to eat.

The full spa menu includes both traditional and truly indulgent treatments that can be enjoyed either in private treatment rooms or outside in secluded Salas – everything from full body traditional Thai massage and Indian massages using aromatherapy disciplines to herbal Thai Prakob to ease away aches and pains and stretch muscles and Anti-Oxidant Green Tea massages to calm skin after a hot day in the sun.

Guests will be able to relax before and after treatments in hot and cold plunge pools, vitality pools, ‘experience’ rain showers and steam baths and also enjoy stretching and yoga sessions at a completely secluded outdoor spa terrace with sunset and ocean views. A delicious menu of light, healthy nutritional dishes and herbal juices are also available for refreshment and served at a juice bar within the water gardens and there is a full salon service for manicures, pedicures and any finishing touches that guests may require.
