Limited-time Offer Encourages Guests to Get Better Acquainted with Fairmont Gold
The value of gold is set to rise at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. From now until September 30, 2011, Fairmont Gold, the brand’s exclusive lifestyle offering, is featuring special rates in select locations worldwide. The limited-time promotion affords travelers the opportunity to “test drive” Fairmont Gold and the many benefits associated with it including an enhanced level of personalized service and exclusive add-ons like free high-speed internet access and complimentary continental breakfast.
Guests looking for the charismatic vibe of boutique-style accommodations with the full-fledged services of a major hotel can look no further. As the brand’s premium room product, Fairmont Gold offers a private, dedicated area allowing guests the experience of an exclusive oasis within the bustle of the hotel. Guests of Fairmont Gold enjoy an unparalleled level of service, delivered by warm and caring staff. A dedicated Gold Manager is on hand to anticipate and address each individual guest’s needs and assist in accommodating requests. Along with enhanced service, Gold floors also provide their own private reception desk, complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, evening hors d’oeurves and late night desserts, full honor bar, a residential-style, comfortable room décor with luxurious amenities, and many more specialized services and benefits. Through a partnership with Random House, guests also have access to fully-stocked Fairmont Gold Libraries featuring hot reads, best sellers, city guides and more.
For the business traveler, Fairmont Gold acts as a functional business center away from the office. With private meeting spaces, staff to assist with light secretarial requests and wireless internet access, guests can carry out business meetings without leaving the comfort of their hotel. For guests looking to take their meetings out of the boardroom, Fairmont Gold staff are available to recommend top dining establishments and arrange dinner reservations. The newest business amenity to land on Fairmont Gold is the iPad; whether a guest wants to read up on international news or tweak an upcoming presentation, iPads are available for the tech savvy traveler at select hotels including The Fairmont Hamilton Princess in Bermuda and The Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.
All Fairmont locations with Fairmont Gold Floors offer similar benefits, but each property tailors the Gold experience to reflect the location in which they reside. At The Fairmont Chateau Whistler, where Gold rates start at $295 CAD this summer, guests can take in the breathtaking coastal mountain views from the comfort of an alpine style lounge complete with a wood-burning fireplace. At The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii, where Gold rates start at $440 USD this summer, the lounge includes a private outdoor space with lanai tables and intimate areas for reading and relaxing. In Shanghai at Fairmont Peace Hotel, Gold rates start at $335 USD and guests receive “The Legend 29”, a champagne cocktail made with red cranberry juice, to symbolize the fortune and prosperity of Chinese culture, while in Beijing the orange and apple cocktail, “Emperor’s Choice” welcomes Gold guests at Fairmont Beijing, who can stay for as little as $309 USD.
