Gary Mano has been appointed General Manager of the
Fairfield Hawaii at Waikiki Beach Walk, announced Scott Candland, vice president of operations for Outrigger Enterprises' Condominium/Timeshare Division.

Fairfield Resorts is the world's largest vacation ownership company with more than 500,000 owner families. In 2002, Outrigger and Fairfield entered into a strategic alliance whereby Outrigger provides on-site resort management services at all Fairfield properties operating in Hawaii while Fairfield Resorts handles all vacation ownership sales and marketing functions. In addition to the Fairfield Hawaii at Waikiki Beach Walk,
Outrigger currently manages Fairfield's Kona Hawaiian Resort, Mauna Loa Village and Royal Sea Cliff Resorts on the island of Hawaii.

Mano is no stranger to the Fairfield product, having most recently served as general manager at the Fairfield Kona Hawaiian Village Resort on Hawaii's Big Island. Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Mano has been in Hawaii
since 1991. He has worked in the hotel industry for over 20 years in a variety of positions, including housekeeping manager and director of guest services with the Ritz-Carlton and Sheraton chains. Mano also worked in the
timeshare industry for seven years with Shell Vacations Club's Kona Coast Resort and Paniolo Greens, and with the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at the Hilton Hawaiian Village as assistant general manager and general manager.

As part of Outrigger's $460 million Waikiki Beach Walk project, Fairfield Resorts is completely renovating and converting the former 480-room OHANA Reef Towers hotel into the new Fairfield Hawaii at Waikiki Beach Walk, a
195-unit vacation ownership property comprised of 95 one-bedroom units, 83 two-bedroom units and 17 two-, three- and four-bedroom luxuriously appointed Presidential suites. All condominium-style units will feature fully equipped kitchens, washer/dryers, audio/video entertainment systems, whirlpool baths and more. Resort amenities will include an outdoor pool, recreation and
meeting rooms, exercise facility, kids club and computer library.
