Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. (NYSE: SHO) issued today the following clarification to its news release dated May 5, 2011. The cash dividend for each share of Series D cumulative redeemable preferred stock will be $0.472222, which reflects the ordinary quarterly cash dividend of $0.50 payable to holders of our Series D cumulative redeemable preferred stock adjusted for the issue date of April 6, 2011. Accordingly, the dividend payable on July 15, 2011 to holders of record of our Series D cumulative redeemable preferred stock on June 30, 2011 will be $0.472222.
