Vineet is an energetic, creative and a strategic thinker. He always believes in doing things differently, thereby not just evolving, but also formulating and implementing the requisite business strategies.
Vineet comes with his vast experience and knowledge of 14+ years in the field of Hospitality, Telecom and Investment Banking.
After working in India for almost 6 years, Vineet relocated to UK to further his educational qualifications and completed his full-time MBA from the Aberdeen Business School. In the due course of his business school, he was chosen as an associate member of ‘Scottish Network International’.
As part of the campus recruitment for dissertation, he was also hand-picked to work as the Marketing Manager and financial analyst for The essential group. He played a strategic role in the management buy-out (MBO) of the company.
Prior to joining The Starwood family at The westin Guraon and Sohna, Vineet spearheaded the Sales & Marketing Operations for Hotel Leelaventure and successfully launched The Leela Kempinski Gurgaon and The Leela Palace New Delhi for the group.
Education has always been a key building block in the family. His father is a qualified engineer from IIT Mumbai, who is now the Dean of an Engineering College. A Hotel Management Graduate; Bachelors in English Language and an MBA from Aberdeen Business School, UK, he has spear headed various Sales & Marketing & Strategic assignments with Intercontinental Hotels, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, The Essentia Group, UK & Strategic Capital Corporation, in the past.
In his personal time, Vineet prefers to ride his motorcycle (Royal Enfield), with his wife Preeti as his navigator, for short ride around the city; read and cook – enjoys cooking Indian food.
During his tenure in Mumbai he met with his wife Preeti there in 2005 and both have been married thereafter.
