The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore will use OCIS for its guest recognition and reward program.

MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCRS), a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that Sino Group of Hotels in Hong Kong has selected the MICROS OPERA Customer Information System (OCIS) to centralize its guest profiles and strengthen customer relationship management. Sino Land’s award-winning hotels, which includes The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore and Sino Group of Hotels, comprise six hotels with 2,579 rooms located across Hong Kong and Singapore. The mission-critical enterprise solution will be centrally-hosted in the MICROS Singapore Data Center, where MICROS will provide additional customer service and benefits.

The MICROS OPERA Enterprise Solution is a fully integrated suite of products with expandable modules, allowing effective and easy deployment, whether for local chain operations or global, multi-branded hotel chain enterprises. Through the two-way real time OPERA Exchange Interface (OXI) to the OPERA Property Management System, the OPERA Customer Information System allows the hotel to collect and analyze strategic information and provides the hotel a powerful database to manage its guest loyalty program.

“We successfully implemented the OPERA Multi-Property Management System (OPMS) several years ago in Hong Kong and Singapore,” stated Nicholas Yim, Executive Director & Group General Manager at Sino Group of Hotels. “OPERA allows Sino Group to effortlessly maintain centralized profile information across the region. Our goal is to take guest services and recognition to the highest level and foster greater customer loyalty through enhanced customer services. The OPERA Customer Information System provides us the perfect platform to accomplish our goals as we move forward.”

“We are delighted that Sino Group of Hotels, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, has once again selected MICROS as its technology partner,” stated Stefan M. Piringer, President of MICROS-Fidelio Asia Pacific. “Customer centric applications are becoming more crucial in today’s hospitality industry, and OPERA CIS is a perfect addition to OPERA PMS. We are looking forward to extending and strengthening our long standing partnership with the Sino Group of Hotels as it expands its portfolio.”
