Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH) proudly announces the appointment of Christine Lynn as vice president of Marketing Services. In this role, Ms. Lynn will work closely with several of the organization's internal stakeholders to ensure that the company's marketing approach and messages across traditional and evolving consumer marketing channels are fully aligned with its corporate and brand strategies. Ms. Lynn will report directly to Alexandra Jaritz, senior vice president of Brand Strategy and Marketing.

"Christine's strategic agility combined with her vast marketing experience makes her an ideal complement to the company's existing brand, marketing and distribution organizations," said Jaritz. "Her leadership will further strengthen the company's mission to achieve the highest return on investment for its franchisees by driving brand awareness, stronger guest room demand at higher rates and incremental bookings through ChoiceHotels.com."

In her role, Ms. Lynn will provide leadership for both the brand positioning and personality of the consumer-facing ChoiceHotels.com brand and for all multi-branded marketing communications, including the continued development and execution of the company's recently launched "Your Voice, Your ChoiceHotels.com" marketing campaign. She will also create and execute single-brand marketing plans for the company's 10 hotel brands and Ascend Collection membership program, while also providing oversight to optimize the company's advertising budget and manage its direct agency of record, media agencies and creative services.

Ms. Lynn brings a wealth of marketing experience to Choice Hotels, most recently serving as vice president of Worldwide Marketing for NASDAQ OMX. In this role, she was responsible for marketing visibility programs for listed companies, along with the development and management of corporate advertising, brand management, and marketing communications for five primary business units.

Prior to joining NASDAQ OMX in 2005, Ms. Lynn was executive director of corporate communications and advertising at XO Communications, a national provider of broadband communication services. Earlier in her career, Ms. Lynn worked for Marriott International in a variety of marketing roles. She holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing for the University of Maryland.
