Hawaii’s only boutique hotel group celebrates 10 years of hospitality

Aqua Hotels & Resorts (www.aquaresorts.com), a full-service Hawaii hotel management company founded in 2001 by Mike Paulin, is celebrating its 10th birthday on August 11, 2011 by offering Hawaii-bound travelers and residents a $10 room special.

“This is a big milestone for us and we’re marking the occasion by offering a fabulous birthday special,” said Elizabeth Churchill, Aqua’s VP Sales & Marketing. “The team put together a simple but unbeatable offer for consumers when booking their next trip to Hawaii.”

Through July 15th, consumers can book their stay of 3 or more nights at 16 participating Aqua managed hotels and resorts on Oahu, Maui, Molokai and Kauai and pay just $10 for their first night with additional nights at our Best Available Rates.

Aqua’s 10th Birthday Special is valid for reservations booked now until July 15, 2011 for stays August 11 until December 22, 2011. Rate special is valid for new bookings only and not combinable with any other promotion or offer. The special must be booked in advance; full prepayment required and is non-refundable.

Aqua Hotels & Resorts entered the Hawaii hotel scene in 2001 when hotelier Paulin began offering a small, intimate hotel experience with a strong focus on customer service. Within several years Aqua had acquired newly renovated hotels and launched the Boutique Hotel concept in Waikiki, recognizing Waikiki’s urban resort roots through its “Beach Life, Urban Vibe” branding initiatives. This new hotel option in Waikiki quickly grew to become a favorite choice among travelers and Aqua soon became Hawaii’s leader in the boutique hotel market. As Aqua expanded to the neighbor islands, it continued to garner recognition as the boutique hotel expert and introduced the Beach Boutique concept – a new concept featuring the intimacy of traditional boutique hotels within the leisure setting of a resort destination.

Headquartered in Waikiki, Aqua is Hawaii’s first employee-owned hotel company since executing an Employee Stock Ownership Plan in 2008.

Currently, Aqua’s chain-wide inventory of 16 unique properties is located exclusively in Hawaii with 12 locations on Oahu, one on Maui, one on Molokai one on Lanai and one on Kauai. Aqua properties include:
