Kristin Campbell Joins Hilton Worldwide as Executive Vice President and General Counsel (United States)

Hilton Worldwide today announced the appointment of Kristin Campbell as executive vice president and general counsel. Beginning on June 27, she will report to Hilton Worldwide’s president and chief executive officer, Christopher J. Nassetta, and will be responsible for leading the company’s legal team.

Campbell joins Hilton Worldwide from Staples, Inc., the world’s largest office products company, where she served as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Prior to joining Staples in 1993, she held positions at two Boston law firms: Goodwin Proctor and Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster. Campbell will be based at Hilton Worldwide’s global headquarters in McLean, Va.

About Kristin Campbell

Kristin Campbell has been practicing law for nearly 25 years. Prior to joining Hilton Worldwide, Campbell was senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Staples, Inc., where she was responsible for the strategic management of the company’s global legal team, including corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Campbell joined Staples in 1993 as real estate counsel.

Prior to joining Staples, Campbell worked at the law firm Goodwin Proctor in Boston. She began her career as a lawyer with the law firm Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster in Boston.

Campbell is a board member of the Association of Corporate Counsel - Northeast Chapter and has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1987. She is also a board director of The Trustees of Reservation, a non-profit land conservation organization. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Campbell is a graduate of Cornell University Law School.
