Outrigger Enterprise Group promotes Milton Lafitaga to Senior Sales Manager – Sports/Group Sales
Rob Solomon, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, is pleased to announce the promotion of Milton Lafitaga to senior sales manager – sports/groups sales for Outrigger Enterprises Group. In his new role, Mr. Lafitaga is responsible for creating sales and marketing strategies and implementing sales action plans targeted to develop the sports and groups market, with an emphasis on sports travel.
Lafitaga, an industry veteran with more than 12 years of experience, joins Outrigger’s corporate office from his most recent post as product manager for Embassy Suites® - Waikiki Beach Walk, an Outrigger-managed hotel, where he handled the wholesale and corporate markets, as well as travel agent relationships for the past four years.
“Milton’s industry knowledge, contacts and business relationships, along with his passion for sports and his Aloha spirit will serve him well in his new role,” said Rob Solomon. “Outrigger has a long history of hosting and supporting sports and related events throughout the Hawaiian islands, and in developing creative solutions to the specialized needs of sports travelers, teams, coaches, schools and universities. Mr. Lafitaga is an alumnus of Brigham Young University and Windward Community College.
