The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, April 2011 … Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading US-based hospitality management company, has announced the appointment of Monique Ladjili as director of sales and marketing for Marenas Resort, located in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.

“Monique comes to her role at Marenas Resort with broad sales and marketing experience for luxury resorts within Florida and internationally,” said Ted Davis, Benchmark Hospitality’s senior vice president sales and marketing. “She brings excellent sales contacts to her role and significant knowledge of US and international travel to the greater Miami area.”

Monique Ladjili was previously director of sales & marketing for The Ritz-Carlton, located in Santiago, Chile. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Ladjili served as director of sales & marketing for the Cheeca Lodge & Spa of Islamorada, Florida.

Ladjili has led the sales and marketing programming for luxury hotels and resorts in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, the Florida Keys, and in Phoenix, Arizona. Earlier in her career she served as director of international sales for a hospitality management company.

A graduate of the College of Marin in California, Monique Ladjili is fluent in multiple languages, including Portuguese and Spanish. She has relocated to Sunny Isles Beach.
