Denis Hennequin has appointed Agnès Caradec Senior Vice President Communications & External Relations. In this capacity, she will be responsible for leading the Group’s institutional, external and internal communication, as well as for guiding the activities of the Accor Foundation.
Agnès Caradec began her career as a parliamentary assistant, before being appointed Technical Advisor in charge of communication at France’s Ministry of Cooperation and Development (1976-1991).
She then served as Communication Director at a number of leading corporations, including France 2 (1991- 1992), Compagnie Générale Maritime (1992-1995), McDonald’s France (1995-1998), Nike France (1998-1999) and Agence France Presse (1999-2001).
In 2001, she joined Ernst & Young France as Director of External Communication, serving until 2010. “The international experience and understanding that Agnès Caradec has acquired over the course of her career will enable her to make a very positive contribution,” noted Mr. Hennequin.
This appointment completes the Group management team and takes effect on April 18, 2011.
