Hotel Okura Co., Ltd. and JAL Hotels Co., Ltd. (a member of Hotel Okura Group) announced today that they are reorganizing and expanding their sales offices outside Japan to strengthen global sales support for their hotel chains.

They are sharing sales offices and assigning sales representatives in six locations: New York, Los Angeles, London, Frankfurt, Paris and Moscow. Okura Hotels & Resorts has five existing sales offices in Japan and five outside Japan [in Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, North America (Denver) and Europe (Amsterdam)]. The first new sales offices opened in New York and Los Angeles on April 1st.

The companies have contracted with The Private Label Company, LLC (The PLC), a private label sales and marketing company with bases in key international cities, specializing in hospitality sales and marketing, for support in the new offices. The PLC’s sales representatives will develop new business and promote and build awareness of the companies’ brands. This is The PLC’s first sales and marketing agreement within the Japanese hospitality industry.
