Nightly rates from just NT$5,950 at fashionable boutique hotel

With flora of the world still in bloom from the spectacular 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition, Taipei’s elegant Hotel Éclat is offering couples nightly rates from just NT$5,950 on a ‘Weekend Spring Fling’ package until 25 April, 2011.

Complimentary tickets to the expo are included along with breakfast, a welcome drink, 15 per cent dining discount voucher and complimentary mini-bar at the fashionable boutique hotel in the Da-An district.

A 50 per cent discount on the third night of a Friday-Sunday weekend stay is also offered with this package, available from March 1 - June 30.

An alternative ‘Luxury and Style Reinvented’ package is offered at NT$6,999 a night for two over the same promotional period, for stays of at least three nights.

With accommodation also in a Deluxe Room, it includes the same benefits, except expo tickets substituted for luxury round-trip airport transfers, with refreshments served along the way.

The world’s premier annual horticultural expo continues until April 25. Staged for the first time in Taiwan, it is expected to attract as many as six million overseas visitors to the giant expo site in Yuanshan Park, in the centre of Taipei City.

Hotel Éclat is opened by Hong Kong entrepreneur Mr George Wong, owner of luxury apartment complex Hong Kong Parkview, and is an established favourite with Hong Kong visitors.

The 60-room boutique hotel is lavishly furnished with priceless artworks, eclectic contemporary design and opulent guest room amenities that rival the world’s top hotels. It also features equally eclectic new restaurant Ming Yuen, designed by internationally renowned interior designer Thomas Schoos.

Hotel Éclat is just minutes from the world famous landmark tower Taipei 101, the Tun Hua South Road luxury shopping district and Taipei’s famous 24-hour Eslite bookstore.

Guests may enjoy complementary entrance to Taipei’s cool, chic nightspot, Room 18, as well as preferential rates at the nearby Shiseido Qi Spa.
