DoubleTree by Hilton London–West End Becomes the Eighth Hotel in the United Kingdom for the Fast-Growing, Upscale Hotel Brand
DoubleTree by Hilton has unveiled its latest addition to the brand with the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton London-West End. Formerly the Bonnington Hotel and latterly the Park Inn London, Russell Square, the upscale, full-service hotel has placed the finishing touches on a multi-phase renovation project and enjoys an enviable location between the City of London and popular West End attractions. The 214-bedroom hotel is operated by Southampton Row Hotel LLP, under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide and managed by Crimson Hotel Group.
The DoubleTree by Hilton London-West End is ideally situated in London's historic Bloomsbury district, between Holborn and Russell Square underground stations. The full-service hotel is adjacent to the British Museum and within walking distance of top attractions such as Covent Garden and the West End. St. Pancras International Station is a short walk from the hotel and both Heathrow International (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW) airports are easily accessible by tube, rail and bus, making it the perfect place to stay for business and leisure travellers alike.
“With so many world-class events scheduled in London during the next several months, we are delighted to introduce another outstanding DoubleTree by Hilton in Central London and our eighth property in the United Kingdom,” said Rob Palleschi, global head for DoubleTree by Hilton. “The unveiling of the DoubleTree by Hilton London–West End highlights the continued potential to competitively grow our brand in a variety of locations around the world, thereby enabling us to provide an extensive range and choice of premier accommodations to our customers wherever they travel.”
With its beautiful Edwardian façade, the DoubleTree by Hilton London-West End retains its historic charm without sacrificing modern convenience. The hotel’s 214 guest rooms, suites and executive accommodation feature pampering bath amenities, generous work surfaces, LCD TVs, wireless high-speed internet access and the brand’s signature Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree sleep experience bedding.
The DoubleTree by Hilton London-West End features 12 flexible conference rooms and a contemporary board room, ideal for business meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings, cocktail parties and satellite conferencing. The hotel’s 248 sqm. ballroom can seat up to 200 guests reception-style. A 24-hour, on-site business centre provides a variety of essential support services and each meeting room features the latest in audio/visual equipment and communications technology.
After a day's business or sightseeing, Bar 92 at the DoubleTree by Hilton London-West End offers a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a light bite whilst catching up with news or sporting events on the bar’s TV screens, or evening cocktails with friends, family or colleagues. The Level Restaurant within the DoubleTree by Hilton London-West End is a chic venue for socialising with friends or business associates. An innovative and exciting international menu is complemented by the eclectic ambience of this vibrant and stylish restaurant. The brand’s extensive DoubleTree Breakfast also is served daily in the restaurant and guests have access to in-room dining 24 hours a day.
