Officials of the Westin Annapolis Hotel announced today that the hotel was awarded the “2010 Catering and Convention Services Team of the Year-Franchise Division” The award was presented by executives of Starwood Hotels and Resorts at a packed “2011 Reach the Peak” Starwood East Coast Sales and Operations Kickoff conference this week in Boston, Massachusetts. The award recognizes the many contributions that the sales, catering, and operations team has done to build on their previous successes throughout 2010.
Michael Vance, General Manager, and Cathy Sandler, Director of Catering for the Westin Annapolis, present at the “2011 Reach the Peak” kickoff accepted the award on behalf of the entire team in front of more then 1,600 hospitality professionals in attendance. “I am thrilled for the team. The team has worked tirelessly to make sure we provide superior service and product to our guests. We strive to exceed ours guest’s every expectation while tailoring events to their unique and individual needs” said Mrs. Sandler.
