INTRODUCTION

Since 2006, Constance Hotels Experience has orchestrated a one week culinary festival with le Relais Bernard Loiseau and his Chef Patrick Bertron. The competition associates six European chefs - all holders of a star in the Michelin guide - with six Mauritian cooks of Constance Hotels Experience.

This Culinary Festival has become an anticipated event on the international gastronomic calendar, attracting media from around the world, as well as prestigious sponsors.

Values of the Event

The Culinary Festival Bernard Loiseau is certainly a competition but it is first and foremost a Celebration. This gathering of passionate professionals is basked in conviviality and the spirit of sharing; all the values that were dear to the great Chef Bernard Loiseau, as well as to the group Constance Hotels Experience.

We have assembled a panel of professional Chefs from different horizons, having a vast experience of food knowledge so as to associate them to our talented Island Chefs for a Culinary Sharing.

This is an extraordinary event as well as a big challenge for the latters, as they will promote the dish created with their counterpart during the competition.

The Venue

The Culinary Festival Bernard Loiseau takes place at Constance Belle Mare Plage, a natural park of 150 hectares located on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mauritian east coast. This renowned resort is also known for its two famous 18-hole championship golf courses.

Our Values

The candidates will have to emphasize the principles of the "Culinary Spirit" of Constance Hotels Experience which are defined as:

"A mixture of spices and essences, aromas and flavours... Constance Hotels Experience reinvents a delicate cuisine, where the culinary traditions of the Indian Ocean islands and the flavours from Asia, Africa and Europe simmer and blend."
