Locavores Rejoice! Menu Features Locally Grown Ingredients and Harvested South Florida Specialties, Plus Creekstone Farms All-Natural, Black Angus Beef

The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach has embraced these variations on Angle and is pleased to announce the re-opening of the hotel’s signature restaurant. Never one to rest on their laurels, the Five Star, Five Diamond oceanfront property has captured the moment, literally and figuratively with a dynamic new restaurant “angle” perfect for accomplished foodies, seasoned travelers and sophisticated locals alike. The overall concept is a palate-pleasing, contemporary, American supper-club featuring classic appetizers, cocktail shaker libations, craft beers and award winning wine wall.

Angle prepares and serves highly sourced locally grown ingredients plus harvested and seasonal South Florida specialties. Culling principles from the slow food movement, the menu focuses on wild, line-caught and day boat fish from the waters of the Florida peninsula; sustainable greens and local produce from neighboring farms and boutique purveyors; all-natural, preservative-free dry-aged, Creekstone Farms Black Angus Beef. Menu items include: Florida Stone Crabs; Taylor Bay Scallops with Corn Puree and Pomegranate; Celeriac Soup with Raisins and Peanut Marshmallow; and Five Color Hydroponic Baby Beets with Endive, Baby Fennel and Clementines. Entrée selections include Gulf Coast Red Snapper with Heart of Palm and Vanilla Vinaigrette; Braised Short Ribs and Prime Natural New York 28 Day, Dry Aged Steak; and Nature Farm Veal Chop with a Natural Veal Reduction.

Desserts are fun, whimsical and delicious. Warm Blackberry Buckle for Two served in a cast iron skillet with Muscavado Sugar and Vanilla Ice Cream is a sweet ending for a perfect dinner.

The quintessential restaurant brings together “a celebration of food with like-minded individuals,” as stated by the resort’s general manager, R. Michael King. “We are thrilled to have our signature restaurant refocused with such natural and locavore appeal our guests will be very pleased with the menu and experience.”

Designed as a dramatic and engaging restaurant, the warm and inviting space has sleek and urbane décor chocolate velvet walls, glowing candlelight and mirrors. Be sure to make a special request to sit at the Chef's favorite Onyx Tasting table; the underlit onyx and amber table uniquely features the Far Niente Experience with flights of wine, chef’s plates and taste makers dinners a true foodie indulgence! Far Niente wines are renowned for their ability to gracefully age and become more nuanced and elegant with time. Their portfolio is a significant collection including Nickel and Nickel, Dolce and many more distinctive wines.

Menu prices begin at $10.00 for starters and $26.00 for entrees.
