An icon of the Australian hospitality industry is making a welcome return with the re-emergence of the Parkroyal brand in Sydney.
Helping to recreate its market presence will be Brisbane-based Intouch Data Pty Ltd (ITD) www.intouchdata.com which has developed a suite of web-based programs that enable hotel operators to convert guest data into powerful marketing initiatives aimed at maximising revenues and occupancy rates.
ITD has just signed an agreement with Pan Pacific Hotels to manage data for the Parkroyal Darling Harbour and Parkroyal Parramatta properties.
Hailing the return of the Parkroyal brand as very significant, ITD managing director Peter Johnson said: "We are delighted to be providing our dataArc www.dataarc.com/v2 and E-trigger products to assist in the marketing and revenue generation of the properties."
Pan Pacific Hotels Group Vice President Nigel Roberts said: "We look forward to working with Intouch Data to manage, access and interpret valuable information which will assist with the marketing and subsequent growth of Parkroyal Darling Harbour and Parkroyal Parramatta."
In November this year, Pan Pacific Hotels Group began its expansion into Australia, with two new hotels in Sydney, Parkroyal Darling Harbour and Parkroyal Parramatta. A third hotel, Pan Pacific Perth (rebranded from Sheraton Perth), will open in January next year.
The Parkroyal brand adds another prestigious name to ITD's client base which includes ACCOR, IHG, MIRVAC, STARWOOD, HYATT, STAMFORD, MANTRA, RENDEZVOUS, EMPORIUM and PALAZZO VERSACE.
The popularity of ITD's hospitality data-mining programs has seen them adopted by some 500 properties across the Asia Pacific region. ITD's products include dataArc, Account Converge, E-trigger, Mdata and HotelSnapShot.
