Hotel du Vin and Bistro has launched its dynamic new website which provides a clear demonstration of the continued investment into the boutique hotel group.

Hotel du Vin, working with Leighton the digital agency behind the Tourism Australia site, and Mobile Travel Technologies, has created a website utilising a fully integrated platform creating an easy and intuitive user journey. Employing leading development architecture with a resilient hosting platform the site will be quicker, more stable and most importantly more secure for users.

Contextualisation for registered users will enable dynamic content to be delivered enhancing the user experience delivering targeted offers and special deals. Direct links to the booking system enables real time visibility of availability for both bedrooms and tables in the bistro. Enhanced tracking codes provide opportunities to re-engage with a guest who has dropped out of the booking process no matter what the reason.
Dominic Edmunds operations director Leighton said, "We're delighted to be working so closely with Hotel du Vin. We're genuinely proud of the new websites and the revised architecture of the customer experience. By working as an extension the Hotel du Vin Brand and Marketing team, we've been part of a fruitful collaboration, which has focused on the customer throughout. This is the first step in a new digital strategy that will lead the market."

The design is based around a lifestyle experience with articles and features focusing on the love of wine such as video footage of head sommelier Ronan Sayburn's guide to wines for Christmas lunch. Other features include details on the communities in which the hotels are located, exciting and innovative events that visitors and guests can attend and all with an enhanced user experience.

Robert B. Cook, chief executive of Hotel du Vin stated, "I think you deserve a better web-site. As a multi-award winning hotel group, we know you need a web presence that is insightful, offering more things to appreciate in the universe of du Vin. A site that is much easier to book a room, a table or purchase gift vouchers than previously ever thought possible. A platform to let you shamelessly enjoy all things du Vin and share it with friends using social networking platforms."

So proud and excited about the new site, Hotel du Vin have been visually counting down to the launch date and will be engaging their strong following of fans with two promotional offers including voucher downloads for dinner with a free glass or Champagne from Facebook.

This is just the beginning of the new evolution of website within the hospitality industry, taking the guest journey from the first log in. Over the coming months this platform will continue to build with guest profiles, tailored and personalised communication, dedicated iPhone and Android based applications, further social networking activity and engagement strategies giving Hotel Du Vin site users a voice to ensure a forward thinking and progressive future for the hotel and bistro group.
