Stylish SEVVA celebrates the festive season atop Princes Building in Central with elegant gastronomy, exceptional cocktails and bespoke Christmas hampers.
Christmas steps into gear with a festive lunch menu served from December 6–24 at style icon Bonnie Gokson's chic penthouse venue, priced at HK$480.
It starts with ham hock, barley & vegetable soup or roasted king scallop on artichoke ratatouille. Main course choices are traditional roast turkey or roasted cod, with dessert of Christmas Mont Blanc with coffee or tea.
Christmas Eve dinner is a 6-course gastronomic feast. Priced at HK$2,380, it starts with caviar & white truffle tossed angel hair pasta and Cantonese-style lobster.
Chestnut & borlotto bean soup with seared king scallops follows. Papadum crêpe of eggplant caviar introduces main course choices of roast duckling with red wine & cabbage risotto or roast monkfish with pancetta risotto. Dessert is homemade ginger ice-cream with gingerbread on ginger snap basket, served with coffee or tea.
Meanwhile at the bar, New York mixologist Joseph Boroski, who blended exotic drinks on the TV series Sex and the City, has created a menu of imaginative festive cocktails for the season, priced at HK$135.
They include ‘Tangerine Swing’ of vodka with exclusive 'Yau Tse' tangerine marmalade and mango; a classic ‘Brandy Alexander’ of cognac with premium Valrhona chocolate, cream and nutmeg; ‘Pink Grapefruit & Ginseng Cosmopolitan’ with ginseng vodka and orange liqueur; and ‘Earl Grey Toddy’ of whisky and Earl Grey tea with honey and lemon.
Per her Christmas tradition, SEVVA’s founder Bonnie Gokson has also styled a bespoke range of hampers as Xmas gifts.
Delicate goldfish, crab and scorpion ornaments are elegantly packaged from her ‘BG AT HOME’ collection of home accessories, priced from HK$2,500 for a Giant Gold Scorpion or Pair of Porcelain Gold Fish to HK$3,300 for a Giant Gold King Crab and HK$5,300 for a set of three Gold Fish in Resin.
Alternatively, a choice of seven SEVVA Hampers features prestigious French-handcrafted silver & gold cutlery and tableware, from teaspoons and napkin rings to cocktail picks and knives and forks, twinned with such luxury treats as exotic sugars from around the world, dessert wine and award-winning tea and honey.
