Mark M. Ozawa Named Managing Director for Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort, St. Lucia

Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort, St. Lucia, announces the appointment of Mark M. Ozawa as its new managing director for the luxury award winning Green Globe Certified Caribbean resort. Ozawa in his new role with the St. Lucia resort will now oversee executive management for the property, as well as day-to-day operations, sales, marketing, technology and reservations.

"Windjammer Landing has had a long standing reputation for offering vacationers a place to escape to their own personal paradise and enjoy luxury accommodations with dramatic sunset vistas, many with plunge pools, in addition to a high level of service. I look forward to leading this St. Lucia resort and bringing it to the next level of vacation experience for our loyal guests," states Mark Ozawa, Windjammer Landing's managing director. "I am delighted to be here and oversee the re-opening of 20 luxury villas after a complete renovation in early fall and to celebrate the property's 21st birthday in November 2011, a truly significant milestone."

A veteran of the travel industry, Ozawa brings 25+ years of hospitality management and consulting expertise to Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort. Most recently he was president and vice president for Accuvia Consulting where he was a hospitality consultant and responsible for business development and execution, as well as provided services to clients in the foodservice and retail categories.

Before Accuvia he was vice president of Sceptre where he repositioned and re-focused a hotel services business that provided technology solutions to improve profitability. Ozawa also ran HSP Consulting, a consulting company that focused on hospitality system solutions, system implementation planning and project management.

Ozawa started his career with Westin Hotels and Resorts, where during 18 years, he held positions that included Support and Implementation Manager, Business Solutions Manager, Operations Manager, Manager of Technical Systems, Front Office Operations Manager and Senior Assistant Manager.
