Mandarin Oriental, Macau has announced the appointment of Samson Woo as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Mr Woo brings to Mandarin Oriental, Macau more than 20 years of hospitality and sales and marketing experience in the Asia Pacific and China region. In his new role, Mr Woo will be responsible for positioning Mandarin Oriental, Macau as the best luxury hotel in Macau, and will oversee the entire hotel’s sales and marketing operations.
Immediately prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Macau, Mr Woo was Director, Travel Trade Sales at Hong Kong’s Disneyland Resort for over three years, where he was responsible for all travel trade-related sales and marketing activities as well as MICE activities for the theme park and its two hotels. Mr Woo earlier worked for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group for seven years, as Regional Director of Business Development, China in Shanghai, and prior to that, as Director of Sales at The Excelsior, Hong Kong. Mr Woo received the “Best Individual Award” from Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2005.
