Now through October 31 guests staying at the Outrigger Luana Waikiki can take advantage of free transportation on the Waikiki Trolley’s Pink Line

Thanks to a complimentary new hotel amenity, guests at the Outrigger Luana Waikiki now has a free pass to hit the road and explore the iconic stretch of Waikiki on the Waikiki Trolley. From now through October 31, 2010, guests staying at the Outrigger Luana Waikiki can take advantage of free transportation on the Waikiki Trolley’s Pink Line which offers routes along Kalakaua Avenue and Kuhio Avenue, including stops at many of the area’s premiere shopping, dining and entertainment destinations. And with rates from $99 a night, the Outrigger Luana Waikiki is the affordable go-anywhere, do-everything option for travelers.

“Our complimentary trolley rides have proven a popular amenity at our other sister properties and we are excited to bring this great value option to our guests to take advantage of as well,” said Pamela Cabrera, general manager of Outrigger Luana Waikiki. “With access to complimentary transportation on the Pink Line, the Outrigger Luana Waikiki makes it easy and convenient for guests to get out of their hotel rooms and experience the many things that have made Waikiki a world-famous vacation destination.”

The Waikiki Trolley’s Pink Line makes regular stops every ten minutes and offers a pick-up and drop-off site conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the Outrigger Luana Waikiki. For guests looking to explore the area, the Waikiki Trolley Pink Line transports visitors to great shopping destinations including Waikiki Beach Walk – home to a wide variety of shopping and dining options -- the DFS Galleria, the Royal Hawaiian Center, as well as the world’s largest open-air mall, Ala Moana Center, located just outside of Waikiki. Riders will also enjoy access to award-winning eateries and popular Waikiki attractions for a full day of fun in paradise. Outrigger Luana Waikiki guests simply need to present their room key, which provides admission for up to two passengers, at pick-up. The room keys can be used for unlimited rides on the Pink Line for the entire duration of their stay.

To rest up for a day on the trolley line, guests can choose from a number of well-appointed accommodation options including spacious hotel rooms for two, studios with kitchenettes, or comfortable one- and two- bedroom suites that include full kitchen areas. All units provide guests with balconies for spectacular ocean views or calming scenes overlooking Fort De Russy Park and have convenient amenities including air conditioning, televisions, alarm clock/radio, coffee maker and in-room safe for travelers’ convenience.

The Outrigger Luana Waikiki is the only all wireless property in Waikiki, with complimentary wireless internet access in every room and common areas including the lobby, mezzanine and pool deck. Guests also enjoy access to a 24-hour business center, laundry and dry cleaning services, coin-operated laundry, swimming pool and fitness center.
