The 5-star deluxe Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel recently announced the introduction of Apple iPads to its rental menu, a move which certainly makes it one of the first hotels in the country to offer this service to its guests, confirming the hotel's position as a technology leader in the region. The luxurious hotel was already one of the first on the Red Sea a couple of years ago to introduce wireless, or WIFI, Internet connection services across its vast property.
Hotel guests can now rent and explore the nifty little gadget for periods from one day to two weeks for a flat fee, allowing them unlimited WIFI or 3G Internet access through the device at the same time, together with the freedom to lounge around the resort – from pool to beach and back – while exploring the world with their fingertips. For those not quite happy with the idea of touching a pad, an external keyboard comes as part of the rental package.
