Category: Asia Pacific - Thailand - Careers - Appointments This is a press release selected by our editorial committee and published online for free on 2010-08-17 John Westoby, Chief Operating Officer of U Hotels & Resorts announces the appointment of Mrs. Chutima Kaewta-Fortescue as the general manager of U Inchantree Kanchanaburi effective as of August 2010. Mrs. Chutima Kaewta - Fortescue a Bachelor of Art – Business Management from Bundit Boriharnthurakit College began her career as room attendance at The Regent of Bangkok in 1989. In 1992 she joined the pre-opening team of the Emerald Hotel Bangkok as a floor supervisor and later was appointed as assistant executive housekeeper in 1995. After that she joined Accor Asia Group at Hotel Sofitel Raja Orchid Khon Kaen (currently rebranded as Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid) as executive housekeeper, and in 2006 she was promoted as room division manager. Prior to joining U Inchantree Kanchanaburi, she was director of room at Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid.
