HMC (Hospitality Marketing Concepts), the
leading solution provider of travel industry membership and database management programs,
has been selected by CLASSICAL to design and implement a private-label membership
program for its hotels.
Under the agreement, HMC will be creating and implementing a paid membership program that
offers recognition and benefits at four of CLASSICAL’s properties – the Athens Acropol and the
Omonia Grand in Athens, the Filoxenia Hotel in Kalamata on the Peloponnesos, and the new
Plaza Spa & Suites in Rethymnon on the island of Crete. Members will enjoy member-only
room rates, complimentary nights, room upgrades, special offers, and more. The 12-month
membership also provides the member with unlimited free dining at any of the managed hotel
restaurants when accompanied by one or more paying guests.
“CLASSICAL is a part of the N. Daskalantonakis Group, a well recognized and respected brand
in Greece,” said John Daskalantonakis, Managing Director of CLASSICAL. “Now, we want to
establish CLASSICAL as an independent brand, build a repeat-customer base and develop
brand loyalty immediately. HMC gives us turn-key solutions that we can deploy at once with
minimal impact on our operations, and the CRM technology to manage our relationship and
communication with our customers. We look forward to having HMC as part of our team.”
“HMC has developed and implemented over 5,000 hotel membership programs over the past
eighteen years for upscale hotels and hotel groups around the world,” said Marwan Ramadan,
President EMEA for Hospitality Marketing Concepts. “Small hotel groups can relay on HMC’s
extensive expertise, our sizeable network of business professionals, and cutting-edge CRM
technology to facilitate their efforts in growing their business and their brand. We will help
CLASSICAL secure a qualified membership base and foster stronger customer loyalty.”
The participating CLASSICAL will also join CLUBHOTEL®, which is HMC’s proprietary network of high quality full-service hotels around the world. By providing room and dining benefits to CLUBHOTEL® members, CLASSICAL will have access to a substantial marketing database consisting mainly of senior executives, professionals and business travelers.
