Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center, one of the nation’s very first conference center hotels, has also been named one of the country’s best, earning the prestigious “Pinnacle Award” from readers of Successful Meetings, a leading national trade magazine. The Pinnacle Award is a recognized mark of excellence for meeting destinations and it is awarded annually to a select group of properties within the United States identified as the best in the industry. Honored properties are selected by the 80,000 readers of the magazine, many of whom are conference planners. This is the eight year Glen Cove Mansion has been given the Pinnacle Award.
“The Pinnacle Award is indeed an honor for us at Glen Cove Mansion,” said Ata Kashanian, general manager. “Our property was one of the nation’s first conference center hotels when the historic Pratt Mansion was converted in 1968. The Pinnacle Award has earned a reputation over the years as one of the meeting industry’s most credible and prestigious symbols of excellence. In determining which properties receive the award each year, corporate meeting planners evaluate each conference center hotel according to variety of criteria, including accommodations, amenities, meeting facilities, conference services, and food & beverage product.
