Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels today announced the promotion of six key executives to strategic new roles within the firm’s national leadership ranks. These individuals have made significant contributions to the firm and have accomplished a great deal of client successes in their area of expertise.The promotions include:
John L. Strauss has been promoted from Executive Vice President to Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels. Based in the Downtown Los Angeles office, he leads Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels’ full service team in the West Coast. As a long-standing leader of the firm, he has completed in excess of $2.5 billion of hotel transactions since joining Jones Lang LaSalle in 1998.
Fernando Garcia-Chacon has been promoted from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President. He joined Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in 2007, with 15 years of real estate experience. Based in Miami, Garcia-Chacon will lead the strategic advisory practice focusing on the Caribbean, Latin America and Southeast United States.
Amelia Lim has been promoted from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President. She joined the firm in 1999, with more than 15 years of experience in lodging real estate investment, planning and development. Based in New York, Lim conducts evaluations and strategic hotel real estate consulting, as well as coordinating hotel sales and debt financing.
Jones Lang LaSalle also promoted three executives from Vice President to Senior Vice President including Chris Dewey, Justin Epps and Bill Grice.
