It has been a good start to the summer for the Majestic Barrière…
On 21 June, the luxury hotel in Cannes joined the 1,000 privileged partners (airlines, cruise companies, hotels, tourist resorts and luxury destinations) of the Virtuoso network.
For the crowning jewel of Lucien Barrière establishments in Cannes, this new collaboration offers a wealth of wonderful prospects. Indeed, this network of travel advisers is one of the largest players in international luxury tourism. In 2009, it generated $4.8 billion through its activities, from weekend escapades to the trip of a lifetime, from a dance lesson with a Broadway choreographer to a honeymoon under a Bedouin tent in the midst of the Sahara.
Its keyword is excellence. This is a value upheld by 300 travel agencies in 22 countries, in North and South America, in the Caribbean, in Australia and in New Zealand. They are chosen with care: only one agency in a hundred in the world can display the colours of this “brand label”!
This elitism is bearing fruit: today Virtuoso attracts a particularly select clientele.
Emmanuel Caux, General Manager of the Majestic Barrière, is under no illusions. On hearing the good news, he commented the fledgling partnership using these words: "Virtuoso represents the elite of American tourism. In this period of economic recovery on the North American continent, this market represents an indubitable asset to win market share for a high contribution clientele."
