Michael McGreevy has been named Food & Beverage Director at the AAA Four-Diamond Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center in Missouri.. In his new position, McGreevy is responsible for overseeing all food operations at the resort, which boasts one of the largest convention centers in Missouri, with 43,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, with the ability to host groups from 10 to 3,000. He also oversees the resort’s dining venues, which includes the award-winning Chateau Grille, the Downstairs Deli, the Atrium CafĂ© & Wine Bar, and The Sweet Shoppe, as well as in-room dining.



A 23-year hospitality industry veteran, McGreevy comes to Chateau on the Lake with extensive food & beverage, operations, and conference service experience. Prior to joining the resort, he served as Food & Beverage Director/Conference Services Manager for the 231-suite Northland Inn and Executive Conference Center in Minneapolis. Previous to that he was Area Manager/Food & Beverage Operations for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and Director of Operations for the 580-room Radisson Inn Maingate in Central Florida.

A consistent recipient of the meetings industry’s highest honors, which includes Successful Meetings magazine’s highly coveted “Pinnacle Award” for 2010, Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa & Convention Center sits on a beautiful Ozark mountaintop overlooking Missouri’s scenic Table Rock Lake.



Offerings at the resort include 301 spacious guest rooms and suites, the world-class Spa Chateau, a full-service marina that offers more water sports activities than any other resort in the Midwest, a 24-hour fitness center, two lighted tennis courts, a year-round indoor pool, an outdoor (seasonal) pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, nature and biking trails, the 54-seat Sassafras Movie Theater, Crawdaddies Kids Club, and full-service concierge. Golf at six area courses, which includes two of Missouri’s finest, also is available to groups and guests.



Featuring an impressive 10-story sky-lit atrium with meandering streams brimming with colorful Koi fish, the resort also offers such dining options as the award-winning Chateau Grille, which features a stunning view of Table Rock Lake and is known for its elegant presentation and exceptional cuisine. Casual fare options include: the Downstairs Deli, serving bistro-style sandwiches, hand-made pizza, and “to go” box lunches; the Atrium CafĂ© & Wine Bar, located in the lobby beside an indoor waterfall and stream; and The Sweet Shoppe, offering hand-dipped ice cream, baked goods, candies, and specialty coffees.



Widely regarded as the “Live Music Show Capital of the World,” Branson features a wealth of offerings, which includes more than 100 live shows per day and a variety of impressive attractions. Among the newest offerings is the acclaimed Titanic: The World's Largest Interactive Titanic Museum & Exhibition.
